Diana Doak talks about how her move to Alliance Bank.Alliance Customer: 5 Years

For over 50 years, Diana's parents kept their money at the same bank. When her dad passed away, Diana needed to move her mom, and the bank account, a little closer to Topeka. The question was, which bank?

“The lawyer gave us a list of options,” says Diana, “so we checked out Alliance. As soon as mom walked in, she said it felt like home.”

Turns out, Diana’s dad had actually worked with Alliance execs, Steve, Jeff and Mark many years ago. And he even knew relatives of the trio’s parents. It was a real family affair.

Diana’s mom, Virginia, who has since passed away, always enjoyed coming inside the bank to conduct business. Because “she wanted to stay and chat.”

Diana kept accounts at the bank, and refinanced her car loan after seeing how well her mom had been treated.

“Kelly Neukirch and the rest of the staff always go out of their way to help,” says Diana. “After mom died, Kelly didn’t hesitate to ask if there was anything she could do for me. She made sure I knew it was ANYTHING she could do, not just banking things. I think she would have even brought over a casserole if I’d said yes!”
